Discover true tea with bespoke experiences, guided tastings, tea ceremonies and tea meditations. ABOUT US: We're big tea nerds, and we're passionate about sharing the world of tea. It's the second-most consumed beverage in the world, but especially in the West, hardly any of us have experienced true tea. So we're here to welcome you into the world of tea - from learning about whole, loose leaf tea, to experiencing the mindful benefits of slowing down with traditional brewing methods. Tea has been around for thousands of years, and unique tea traditions have evolved all over the world. We learn and source our tea from tea makers and tea masters across the globe, and our aim is to share their wisdom, experience and connection to this ancient heritage with you. OUR MISSION: Social and environmental consciousness has been rising in recent years, as people realise the impact their purchasing power has on the planet and on the lives of others across the world who work to create the things we buy. From fast fashion to cheap chocolate, we’re realising that the convenience we’ve come to expect often comes at a cost. This conversation is already well-developed in some areas - we know about buying organic and local, we talk about the coffee supply chain - but what do we know about that most quintessential of British beverages, tea? This is where Leaf & Buds comes in. Through local collaboration and direct partnerships with tea producers globally, we offer tea experiences that centre the artisanship, health benefits, and cultural practices associated with tea across the world. Our mission is to cultivate connection, curiosity and cultural exchange through tea. Through education, conversation and inspiration, we hope to foster the budding consciousness around sustainable, ethical and culturally sensitive tea in the UK.
