About LeapYear
LeapYear is a 12-month program that develops high school grads into world-class leaders. LeapYear students participate in career prototyping, leadership development, 1:1 coaching and spiritual formation practices to gain experience, develop virtuous character, and build critical skills all while discovering their calling. High-school graduates face enormous pressure to “pick the right next step.” Yet, 80% have no clue what to do next or how to decide. Too often, this decision is rushed without enough real-world experience or genuine self-discovery. The result? College students change majors three times on average, and the vast majority of graduates hate their jobs, work in fields disconnected from their major and are underemployed. LeapYear is here to change that. We believe that before you commit to college or a specific career, you should have the chance to test-drive what the world has to offer—and uncover who you really are in the process.
