About Learn and Thrive
Learn and Thrive are a new charity developing FREE online learning tools for people with Down's syndrome and other learning difficulties. We run two projects, supporting different ages across varying topics. Teach Me Too caters to early years, with a focus on speech and language and cognition and learning development. Learning for Life is built around the primary RSE curriculum, and enhances understanding and strategies around growing up, friendships, emotions, puberty, and more. Both projects are expertly created alongside specialists in the SEN education field, from speech and language therapists to specialist teachers and counsellors. Teams from Inclusively Down, Key Communication, Symbol, and 21 Together, have worked with us to create our accessible, specialised, high-quality content, all provided completely free of charge to the parent carers and educators of children and young people with Down's syndrome and special educational needs.
