About Learning Engagement and Development Services (LEADS)
With staff located in Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany and New York City, LEADS currently conducts training throughout the State of New York. We also provide other training related services to help eligibility workers apply best practices when providing temporary assistance and support to eligible families and individuals across the state. Our work includes training supervisors and managers within the nation’s largest local social services agency, in New York City, as well as providing training, technical assistance, and critical systems support to county social services workers throughout the state related to programs such as Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) child support services, employment services, and homelessness prevention services. Additionally, LEADS conducts applied research to help inform the implementation, design and development of programs and training to support best practices of public assistance services and programs. We have many years of experience training child welfare staff, from front line workers to administrators. We also have a long history of creating outstanding blended learning programs for all levels of child welfare staff. Our areas of expertise include curriculum design and development, e-learning creation, training, facilitation, coaching, conference organizing, evaluation, applied research, graphic design and project management.
