About Learning Through Play

Learning Through Play’s aim is to design and build beautiful spaces for children to explore and learn. We truly believe that we can get the most out of any outside space and deliver the best design for your budget. We want to contribute to the future of landscaping in schools, which we think means combining functionality, longevity, risk play, imagination and aesthetics. We draw inspiration from the natural world, modern landscape design and everyday life to create playgrounds the likes of which we never had when we were growing up! We like to design from a child’s perspective giving us wonderful freedom to understand how they will use the space and what will be important in THEIR new playground. We also understand what matters to the teachers and appreciate that it isn’t just a children’s playground but an extension to the classroom and a valuable learning facility.
