About Lease for Life Housing Group

Lease for Life provides affordable housing through long-term leases. We work with low to average income households helping to improve their lives through sustainability and security. Many households on even what may be considered as a good wage without the additional costs children bring are struggling to meet the demands of basic housing! The criteria for a mortgage is so stringent that many are forced to forgo a mortgage and are forced to rent from six to twelve months. These tenancies are inherently less stable, more temporary, and much costlier than owning your own home. We can demonstrate that secured long-term renting can be affordable for tenants and remain very profitable for landlords. We can make a positive impact on these households removing the anxiety and stress, not to mention the costs related to moving regularly and/or increased rentals. The ability to control your living environment, no more dealing with a poorly maintained property or a lack of decent living standards. The positive impact on children and their education when they are secure in their homes affects their long-term well-being. Parents have more resources and can offer their children more support and encouragement from being able to put down stable roots in a community. Our mission is to bring affordable housing to London, not just the four walls and the roof, but the network supporting the home and the household. Lowering the costs involved, the home environment itself and the security of long term rental is our aim.
