About LECIP
LECIP Inc is the US based subsidiary of LECIP Holdings Corporation based in Gifu, Japan. Our mission is to bring state-of-the-art technology to the North American transit market based on more than 60 years of experience in Asia. LECIP Inc. provides automated fare collection systems, LED lighting for buses and trains, and signs and displays for passenger information systems. All of our products meet the applicable federal regulations (ADA, Buy America(n), etc). At more than 260 agencies in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and US, LECIP has provided AFC systems that meet the most demanding requirements: process large numbers of people efficiently through complex multi-modal networks. Transit users in these markets are tech-savvy and demanding of quality. Our solutions address the North American transit industry’s current challenges and goals including, but not limited to ease of use by both riders and agencies, existing ITS systems integration using open architecture, multi-modal fare payment, reduction in operating costs, accurate data for improved forecasting and planning and reduction in fare evasion. We have a full suite of fare collection system equipment including electronic, validating fareboxes, standalone smart card validators, compact ticket vending machines, transfer printers, magnetic card printers/readers, vaults, mobile safes, and probes as well as the central back-office system to support them all. All of our products meet the Buy America regulations.
