Leeds Wood Recycling work to reduce waste and save resources, operating a professional wood collection service and reclaimed timber shop. We promoting an inclusive environment with opportunities for all abilities, supporting people on the margins of society with practical experience, empowering people to grow skills, gain employment, expand social networks and be part of something positive. What we do: Waste wood collection service: We run a chargeable cost effective and ethical timber collections service. Working in a similar way to a skip hire company, but offer a sustainable alternative to waste disposal as 100% of our collected wood waste is sorted, repurposed and recycled in some way. Reclaimed Timber shop: Open to the public. Check out our social media as we receive unusual and unique items all the time. But we constantly have a range of products in our shop including; Sheet and timber materials suitable for DIY or building projects in a range of sizes and shapes. Including Firewood and kindling. Furniture and Products: A range of Bespoke wood products and furniture made from recycled wood – see our shop for some of out current products! Online shop: Scaffold shelves and pallet wood walls and more! Volunteering and social change: Supporting long term unemployed and marginalised individuals from a range of backgrounds with volunteer roles, offering free training while battling isolation and loneliness. Workshops and woodwork classes: We run evening and weekend classes, open to the public to learn woodwork skills
