LegacyTransition Capital invests in established UK-based SME and Lower-Middle Market businesses. We acquire a majority stake in companies from hard-working shareholders who have spent years creating and crafting a livelihood for themselves and their employees. We acquire a small number of businesses, grow them incrementally, and hold them indefinitely with the help of excellent management teams with invested interest. We focus on well-established SMEs and Lower-Middle Market businesses with exciting growth prospects. We fund the acquisitions through equity (supported by several high-net-worth investors), debt and deferred payments. Each company is assessed on its own merits. However, we have provided considerations when reviewing new opportunities below: ⁃Net Profit between £300k and £2m ⁃Sector agnostic with a preference for B2B sales ⁃Businesses with strong second-tier management ⁃Low levels of customer concentration and high levels of recurring customers/work ⁃We don't invest in start-ups. We prefer businesses that have been established over several years ⁃Businesses that have the opportunity to grow beyond their current size
