About Legal Domain | Law Office & Practice Solutions
The business world is familiar with the shared workspace concept and virtual offices. The existing models do not work well for lawyers, though, due to client perception. The Legal Domain is designed to bring the advantages of flexible office solutions to lawyers without sacrificing image and client confidence. As a bonus, TLD offers products and services specifically for lawyers – including staffing, coverage counsel, billing clerk, legal research, and etc. The Legal Domain (TLD) is an alliance of independent attorneys and small partnerships under one roof. The concept of “law chambers” originated in England, where a group of barristers shares the office space in order to reduce cost, pool resources, and provide the public a convenient place to find legal counsel. It is an age-old idea. Today, of course, the business world has become very familiar with virtual offices and executive suites. Companies, such as WeWork and Regus have proven the advantages of shared office space both here in the U.S. and internationally. However, while these companies offer a very efficient solution for most businesses, the set-up tends to be problematic for attorneys. It’s about perception. Clients looking for IT services or start-up companies, for example, do not mind the open, shared-space concept. The offices tend to be hip and progressive, which is an image that works well for many businesses. But, that is not the image clients tend to appreciate when it comes to choosing an attorney. That is why The Legal Domain came to be. TLD merges the law chambers and executive office concepts and takes the next logical steps. The office space looks and feels like a law firm because it IS a law firm. After all, there is very little difference between TLD and law firms that use the “pod model.” Since TLD caters strictly to attorneys, the company can offer cost-effective solutions for the services and supplies all attorneys need.
