Legend Financial Services was founded by Mark Hammond in 2003. Mark grew up with a single mom who was a school teacher. He learned music at a young age and performed with Jr. High and High School bands and then rock bands after that. He met a great girl when he was 19 and they've been married since 1992. Right as he finished school and they had their first child, he secured a job with a mortgage broker firm and learned the business. After 6 years working there, he was asked to start a division of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage over the state of Utah in charge of non-conforming loans. After a few years there he left to start his own mortgage brokerage firm because brokers can secure better rates and a wider variety of loan programs than banks can. Legend is a Utah lender and a California lender. Mark has assembled an extremely talented team of mortgage professionals, all with 10 plus years in the business. They specialize in the needs of first time homebuyers and seniors (Reverse Mortgages), but can help everyone buy or refinance their home. Once a customer, your loan information is tracked by sophisticated software and you will be advised automatically when opportunities arise that can save you money.
