The improvement in academic performance has been driven by a talented and committed workforce, the hard work of our students, and support from parents and our community. In 2017, we joined Leigh Academies Trust, a top-performing trust dedicated to supporting our students' continued success. Designed in partnership with Nicholas Hare and built by BAM as our main contractor in 2012, our purpose built £26m campus offers outstanding learning environments and sports facilities. Before becoming Strood Academy, the school was known as Chapter School, and previously as Temple School.
