Leila is a fully qualified acupuncturist and Chinese medical practitioner, registered and insured with the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM). Leila is committed to continued professional development and has undertaken postgraduate training to provide specialist treatment and support for Gynaelogical conditions, fertility issues (male & female), IVF support and obstetrics. Leila is a member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network (AFN), a professional interest group set up by the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), for acupuncturists who are dedicated to supporting those with fertility and gynaecological issues. As a member, Leila is constantly updated with advances in clinical research in related areas, allowing her to stay at the forefront of this field. Leila is committed to bring the wonderful tools of this subtle and effective medical system to the majority, and is recognised by the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners which only approves practitioners who have undergone professional training at recognised institutes that meet the required criteria to ensure a high standard of clinical practice. The NHS directory also provides a service to local GPs allowing them to refer their patients to local Complementary Medicine practitioners on the register.
