This most challenging project was started in 2013 in the middle of nature reserve- and river area. De Bernisse on a island in Stompaardse plas. In 6.5 years, a soul-drenching restaurant has been converted into a bustling recreation restaurant where now more than 60,000 guests enjoy each year. December 1e, 2013 we opened the doors of the completely renovated theme restaurant "De Pannekoekenbakker Zuidland". Now. this restaurant seats about 500 guests in 3 attractively decorated restaurants and a spacious terrace directly on the water. The exploitation of the recreation restaurant has been sold in January 2020 to the valued employees Celine and Maikel. And the business set the course to a more balanced relationship between work and leisure. In short, this moment the business is sailing to new leisure islands and opportunities on the horizon.
