About LEISURE of NYC

HOW IT STARTED Back in 2011, our co-founder Joe was working for the airlines. He had countless late nights trying to help frantic passengers find lost luggage. Across the Atlantic, our co-founder Courtney was living abroad, traveling, and panicked when her luggage went missing. That’s when the sibling duo was created and Leisure was born. WELCOME TO LEISURE. PHILOSOPHY The more we discover the new, the more we've learned the basics. We want a simpler, better alternative for everyday amenities. We are here to bring you the extension of the mini bar. We truly believe that the basics we wear everyday are better than the things you wear every once in awhile. DESIGN We are here to redesign. We have thought beyond the ‘fast fashion’ mentality and have sourced the softest long-fiber cotton fabric, along with soft cotton tags. We have been to countless manufacturers in Los Angeles and we are proud to say we know our sewers by name. We have handcrafted the perfect fit from design to pattern making to sewing all right here in Los Angeles. We are here to give you a timeless piece from our very own local neighbors. PACKAGING We have crafted something sleek yet, enticing. You will also notice that our packaging is recyclable, which is an industry must, here in southern California.
