Established in 1995, Lemming Film is one of the leading film and television production companies based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands with a proven track record in delivering quality commercial film and television productions. It produces children-, teen- and family features as well as international arthouse features. Lemming Film was founded and continues to be run by CEO Leontine Petit along with screenwriter/director Marco van Geffen. Since 2007 this team was expanded with Eva Eisenloeffel who are both delegated producer of Film and delegated producer of Television & new media. Lemming Film produces projects that reflect an open-minded vision on contemporary society. It initiates and nurtures close collaborations with the most exciting screenwriters, directors and acting talent as well as being a key player in international co-productions wich this year see productions span from continental Europe, to Africa, South America and Georgia. With a clear eye on both their national and international market, Lemming Film is participating in the new challenges of film and television distribution as well as the possibilities of multimedia. d.net.work Lemming Film seeks to actively contribute to a European production community. The executive directors therefore take an active part in the structural collaboration of seven production companies from all over Europe, called d.net.work. Cinema Junior To stimulate the development of feature films for a young audience Lemming Film has developed the 'cinema Junior' project together with the Dutch Film Fund, and broadcasting companies KRO and VPRO. The project is presented as an open subscription for writers and directors. In 2005 two feature films were produced by Lemming Film and Egmond Film & Television, in 2009 two new features are released by Lemming Film and Bos Bros.
