Rand is the Founder & Publisher of "The Soul of the American Actor" Newspaper (23rd year), and best-selling author of "SOLO TRANSFORMATION ON STAGE," "Acting Teachers of America" & "CREATE!" Rand has performed "LET IT BE ART!" at over 75 theaters including Tangier's Dar al-Makhzen Palace, a grass-roofed tribal hut in Harare, Tbilisi's Cave Theater, Bangkok's Patravadi Garden Theatre, and at the foot of Mt. Everest in Kathmandu. Harold Clurman was considered the "Elder Statesman of the American Theatre." Co-Founder of the famed Group Theatre of the 1930s with Lee Strasberg and Cheryl Crawford.
