About Let it slow
What is Let it Slow? Let it slow is a feeling, an approach, a movement, a community. We have been quite busy recently, so we decided to slow down, because it is good! We want to share this slowing-down with you, because it is much better when we do it together. What do we do? We invite you to experience by our writings, presentations, trainings and public events. We continuously inform you about our slowing-down events on our website. What is common in us? We believe that slowing-down is good. With the help of it we can get to know ourselves and the world. Life does not rush past us at a frantic pace, but it happens to us. Our slowing-down is accompanied by enhancing our awareness, so we can improve, accomplish ourselves and have an effect on the world. We believe in life of good quality, thereby we always pay attention to excellence and keep it in mind. We believe we bear the responsibility of each other and this social shared responsibility comes true by personal growth and development. Why slow? The term "slow" implies awareness, sustainability, respect for people and for the environment. Its roots go back 30 years to Italy, where Slow Food movement comes from. It has become a widespread concept in many areas, such as slow travel, slow sports, slow money, slow work, slow city.
