About LETI
LETI is a voluntary network of over 1,000 built environment professionals, working together to put the UK and the planet on the path to a zero-carbon future. Our vision is to understand and clarify what this means in the built environment and develop the actions needed to meet the UK climate change targets. Our volunteers are made up of developers, engineers, housing associations, architects, planners, academics, sustainability professionals, contractors and facilities managers, with support and input provided by local authorities and other organisations. Originally the ‘London Energy Transformation Initiative’ (LETI) was established in 2017 to support the transition of London’s built environment to meet Net Zero Carbon. Since then, LETI has formed as a Community Interest Company and altered our name to become the ‘Low Energy Transformation Initiative’, but predominantly we are known as LETI.
