Laboratory of Information Technologies “LEXAND” (LEXAND trademark) is a Russian consumer electronics brand. LEXAND trademark was registered in 1989. The original devices sold by the company were modems – the first devices of the kind back in the Soviet Union. Later, Laboratory of Information Technologies “LEXAND” focused its efforts on the telecommunications market and has been a major supplier of SIEMENS communication systems for over fifteen years, mostly for the corporate sector. The company’s new project – promotion of consumer electronic devices under the company’s own trademark LEXAND – was launched in the middle of 2008. The first proprietary devices appeared on the Russian market at the end of that year. The current portfolio of LEXAND includes car GPS and GPS/GLONASS navigators (PND), car tablets, dashboard cameras (DVR, car black box), smartphones, miniature mobile phones, tablet PCs, electronic books (E-book), as well as a range of branded accessories, routers with battery backup and mini-routers with 3G/4G support. The company cooperates with the best and largest contract manufacturers of equipment and software, and takes great care in the selection of partners. As a result, all of the company's products have something special, which makes them stand out among the great number of other devices represented on the market.
