About LFE

About Us: LFE GmbH & Co. KG is a German family owned and operated company that has been developing and manufacturing high quality instrumentation- and components for process gas and water analysis since 1979. LFE was founded by the renowned developer Dr. Günter Schunck, who was known, among many other things, for his groundbreaking work on microflow sensors for process NDIR photometer systems. The BINOS® system from Emerson Process as well as the Ultramat® system from Siemens resulted from this work. Specialized and unique solutions in the field of process analytical instrumentation played a large role in LFE's early years. The resulting know-how led over the course of time to products which guarantee an unusually high level of response stability and operational reliability. As a family owned and operated company in its second generation we continue to take great pride in our highly acknowledged products and services. Our long-standing European and worldwide customer base consists of well-known industrial plants as well as research facilities. In March 2011 we relocated to our new, modern facility in the city of Bruchkoebel, just to the northeast of Frankfurt am Main.
