About LGL | Learn German with Lena

Native German Language Coach and Translator with more than 9 years of experience in Language Teaching in Germany and Canada. Meeting people with diverse cultural backgrounds, engaging in conversations, and teaching my mother tongue, German, are all activities in which I feel most passionate. Native to Germany, I am proud to teach others its culture, especially through the German language itself. My passion to illustrate the way of life of Germans plays a key role in my teaching (e.g. discussing historical events, current news, and cultural peculiarities). In fact, after several years of teaching and participating in advanced training programs offered by the Goethe-Institute, I am happy to share my experiences, my Teaching Philosophy, Techniques and Style in which I approach my classes. My personal ambition is to be as comprehensible as possible to every single student while providing interesting and lively lessons. To me, teaching means to support every learner in his/her endeavor to learn a language and to give the best and most appropriate help. I feel most successful when I manage to lure out the creativity of the learners and share their enjoyment analyzing, discovering and practicing the German language in a playful way.
