About LGT Logistics A/S
LGT stands for LBC – GM-ITM – Transport. We have been transporting furniture into and out of the nordic countries since 1970. The Swedish and Danish operations have been part of the same group since 1990. The Finnish operation was founded in 1994. The group was at that time owned by the Swedish logistics group ASG, which was later acquired by Danzas and DHL. The LGT group operated as a specialist entity separately from the owners main business. On the 1st of October 2005, LBC and GM-ITM were sold to LITORNA Kapital, and on 1 April 2009 the LBC Group was sold to AXCEL. On the 1st of March 2015 was the LGT Group sold to Litorina. Today the group runs transport operations to and from all of Western Europe and we are in the first stages of looking towards the EU member countries in the East. In addition to this, our container operation with furniture from the Far East for distribution in Europe is experiencing substantial growth. At the moment, the group has 325 employees working in our departments in Tibro, Bjärnum, Lahti, Vilnius and Horsens, and our 2014 turnover was in the vicinity of EUR 78 million.
