About LIB - Latinas in Bristol

LIB CIC (Latinas in Bristol) is an organization that works to improve Latin American women’s lives in Bristol. As an ethnic minority, We work to improve our community in the city and connect with each other. We welcome Latin American Women from all ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, social classes, and religions: and We are a bisexual, lesbian, queer and trans-inclusive space. We work to make their life better by helping them improve their everyday life: with social integration and combating social exclusion/isolation-type activities. Our mission: To work together to improve the women's lives in Bristol through activities and workshops. To raise awareness and understanding of the issues facing the Latin American community in Bristol. To network, share information and act as a resource, and source of information for the community. Build strong relationships within and across others communities. Improve the places and spaces that matter to the Latin American community. Coordinate activities and workshops to embrace British culture as well. To raise our representation in society through our culture, music, food, etc. To work and collaborate with other organizations to grow as a community. To work together to empower the Latin American community in the UK to recognise the need to engage as active citizens and cooperate on social justice issues.
