About Liberty Art Works

Liberty Art Works is a firefighter/veteran-owned and operated company that was established by sculptor Robert Daus, Sr., who served 30 years as a Saint Louis firefighter. Here at Liberty Art Works, we have over 40 years of experience in creating high-quality bronze sculptures that honor members of the fire service, emergency medical service, law enforcement, as well as members of the military. Our bronze castings are created utilizing the "Lost Wax Process". After designing the creation, it is then sculpted in clay and then recreated in a special wax. A thick ceramic shell is layered over the wax, and the wax is then removed, leaving a hollow cavity that is filled with molten bronze. Upon cooling, the shell is removed and the bronze sculpture is then hand-finished and mounted for presentation. This method has produced some of the most beautiful and unsurpassed bronze statues, awards, and monuments, all with special attention to detail. We take pride in the guarantee that all of our products here at Liberty Art Works are made in the USA. Since the initial inception of Liberty Art Works, the company has grown to include the children of Robert Daus Sr. His late son, David Daus, was an EMT and police officer who greatly impacted company growth when he served as the company's Chief Financial Officer. Liberty Art Works continues to value his legacy daily. The other son of Robert Daus Sr. is the company's Vice President Robert Daus Jr., who currently serves as Fire Captain for Saint Louis County. Kimberly Daus, an EMT and firefighter is one daughter who serves as Executive Secretary. Tamara Daus, the second daughter, serves as a graphic designer for the company. Comprised of first responders and veterans, we understand the value and honor that monuments, statues, and awards carry. Liberty Art Works is determined to deliver excellence in every piece.
