For over 20 years, I have worked with individuals and couples in Orange County, CA, to heal, restore and rejuvenate relationships both with one another and with themselves. As a graduate of St Mary’s College, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and have worked in the therapy field, teaching relationship and communication skills to individuals and couples for over two decades, sharing the journey of hundreds of people. With deep roots in mindfulness-based approaches, my therapeutic style is richly eclectic, integrating several research-based modalities. In addition to being a classically trained and skilled Psychotherapist, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500). I began practicing yoga over 20 years ago and immediately fell in love with the benefits of the practice. Although not formally trained, my true passion lies in somatic experiencing (SE), which is a naturalistic, neurobiological, body-oriented approach to healing traumas and other stress-related disorders. Ultimately restoring the authentic self with self-regulation, relaxation, wholeness, and aliveness. In 2013, I founded The OC Shrinks, which is now a thriving organization with over 3,000 members, dedicated to upholding the highest standards of care in the field of mental health. We aim to build bridges between clinicians, clients, and treatment centers in our community, and close the gaps within these populations. Clients have come to deeply trust our directory as a reliable source for finding help in Orange County. Clinicians have found a steadfast community of colleagues to share information, referrals, and opportunities with.
