It first started in 1993 as CPS/Arizona an affiliate of the CPS Insurance Services Group, which is the nation's leading independent marketer of individual products to successful financial and insurance professionals. Originally, it specialized in “hard to place cases” that larger insurance companies refused to underwrite. Company employees Dan Valentine and Jay Miller purchased CPS/Arizona in 2005 and later rebranded it LifeBrokers to better define the mission of the organization within the life insurance industry. Over the years LifeBrokers has continued its heritage, but also has expanded its expertise and product offerings to all types of life insurance, disability insurance, long term care insurance, and annuities. LifeBrokers bridges the gap between insurance carriers and insurance agents by consistently meeting agents needs with in-house underwriting service, personal case management, and “case rescue” staff. In 2010 LifeBrokers launched LifeBrokers & Associates - an insurance brokerage company for career and independent insurance agents.
