About LifeSpark Cancer Resources
LifeSpark Cancer Resources: Restoring YOU through touch therapies. LifeSpark is a non-profit organization that provides wellness therapies to individuals with cancer that provide hope, healing, and peace. We offer free Reiki and Healing Touch sessions to individuals with cancer and their caregivers from Longmont to Colorado Springs. Locations for sessions include Elements Massage (13 studios), cancer centers (Denver Health, Memorial Hospital, Anschutz Cancer Center), and several local churches. We help individuals with cancer feel better. In fact, based upon a recent study of 108 patients in our program, nearly 80% of them reported significant improvement in physical and emotional well-being. And 94% said that they found our services valuable and would refer others. LifeSpark believes that a calm mind and a comfortable body will transform the cancer experience. Every day our care providers give gentle Reiki and Healing Touch sessions to individuals with and recovering from cancer because no one should go through cancer alone. Over 100 volunteer Reiki and Healing Touch providers deliver the sessions on a weekly basis, and the program duration is weekly for 12 weeks. LifeSpark is at the leading edge of integrative medicine, and is one of only three non-profits in the country with a focus on energy therapies for cancer patients.
