About Lift Foils

Founded in 2011 in Puerto Rico by Nick Leason, Lift started as a family business in the emerging field of hydro-foiling. Today we are proud to be leaders in the space as the inventors and first mass distributors of the eFoil electric hydrofoil surfboard, with thousands of units shipped worldwide. The Lift eFoil leverages advances in lithium battery technology and wireless communication to create an experience that’s a mix of surfing, flying, and deep-powder snowboarding. The eFoil features a powerful, silent, electric motor, a state-of-the art battery, and high-performance carbon-fiber boards, foils, and wings engineered and shaped by master craftsmen. These parts combine to allow riders of all athletic capacities the opportunity to fly above any body of water, without needing to be propelled by wind or waves. Even though we have grown quite a lot since our inception, Lift is still a company rooted in family- our team of surfers, engineers, shapers, components experts and designers is close-knit. As we grow, we continue to focus on our core goals: making everyone who works with us or uses our products feel like part of the community, and holding our products to the highest standards to ensure the best experiences on the water.
