About LIFT Society

LIFT Society is a place for people who love to lift weights. We are a weightlifting club with weightlifting, strength training and overall conditioning to transform bodies and leave our members feeling strong and empowered. We are a community of people who value hard work, sweat, dedication, and results that speak for themselves. We recognize that lifting weights is a continual challenge, and we welcome it. We aren’t just lifting the bar, we’re elevating our lives. Our Program We provide the most competitive and cutting-edge coaching in the market. LIFT Society is an affiliate studio of Takano Athletics, one of the most highly regarded coaching programs in the weightlifting industry. Our coaches are supervised and coached by Bob Takano himself, a USA Hall of Fame and nationally ranked weightlifting coach. We are the only studio in Los Angeles with this affiliation credit. Our program features explosive power, maximal strength, and cardio endurance within a structured program of weightlifting, power lifting and kettlebell lifting for a well-rounded yet competitive fitness program. Our Facility On the outside, LIFT Society is an understated retail space which requires a second look. From the glass exterior you can see gold chandeliers, tufted leather chairs, and vintage photos reminiscent of the golden years of weightlifting. Upon entering, you’re greeted by a friendly receptionist who hands you a towel and checks you into class. You enter the club through a decorative partial wall which allows light to come in but keeps the space hidden from the busy noise of life outside. At LIFT Society we pride ourselves on a clean facility, and service to our clients’ goals.
