About Light a Brighter Light Incorporated

Welcome to Light a Brighter Light (LaBL), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact on our community. With unwavering commitment, we have devoted over 850 hours to community service through more than 50 volunteering events, boasting an active membership of 75 individuals who share our passion for giving back. Our mission centers around creating large-scale acts of service that uplift and support the community. From volunteering at soup kitchens, shelters, and school events to cleaning up local parks and providing assistance at cultural events and senior centers, we strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve. Leading the charge are our esteemed directors (and also co-founders): Krishan Hegde, Pranav Bonthu, and Yash Belkhode. Krishan Hegde of Winchester High School serves as the president of the organization. Pranav Bonthu from Shrewsbury High School serves as the organization's treasurer. Yash Belkhode, also from Shrewsbury High School serves as our secretary. We founded the organization and grew it with the help of all of our volunteers, most notably Marachim Nwaubani and Ian Agyekum! We are proud to have achieved official status in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, solidifying our credibility and accountability in all our endeavors.
