About Light and Life
Light and Life was founded on 5th March 2018 by Ms. Nishtha Sen and Mr. Subhash Kumar. It is run by a group of young enthusiasts , students of S.R.M. Institute of Science and Technology. This NGO was founded to cover a major aspect of life cycle that is animal welfare as no other NGO focused on this topic in and around the institute. Hence, it was our major objective to focus on things which are generally ignored by today’s generation. We also aim at uplifting the society and focus on empowerment of each and every section of it. Light and Life believes in a phrase – “They grow, we grow”. Where ‘they’ is referred to the underprivileged sections of the society. VISION Enlightening and enriching the underprivileged sections of the society, giving life and sustaining our mother earth. Protecting our nature is our vision. Where nature is everything around us, i.e. the environment. MISSION Contributing towards the betterment of the society by following the 3 “Es” namely, Empowering the underprivileged, Enlightening life (Nature & Animals), Encouraging the helping hands. "Bringing Life in our mother nature & enlightening Lives is what we aim for", join hands to save our nature and its children.
