About LightForce Marketing
Since founding LightForce Marketing in 2006, I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside smart clients to solve business problems, assess opportunities, introduce new products, and drive action in the marketplace. Over the years, we’ve been tapped for C-level marketing initiatives to build and revitalize brands, combining strong marketing discipline with passion, insight, and the proven ability to seize opportunities and initiate positive change. In 2012, LightForce developed a proprietary research methodology and published the inaugural Financial Preparedness Report™, educating AMA physician members on personal finance and retirement planning. Nearly 10,000 physicians, residents, and medical students participated. For the first time, doctors could see detailed benchmarks—such as retirement portfolio amounts, investments, insurance, and medical school debt—broken down by age, career stage, specialty, and gender. Over the next seven years, AMA Financial Preparedness Reports and a series of thought-leadership content drove awareness, building a member marketing and media relations campaign that reached doctors and strengthened engagement and affinity. Since then, we have created and published more than a dozen Financial Preparedness Reports for different homogeneous groups, including internal medicine physicians, veterans, veterinarians, state union workers, and geoscientists. Each time, our turnkey process delivers breakthrough insights for associations, with rich content, and an opportunity to engage members in authentic conversations about their top financial concern: a secure retirement.
