About Lighthouse Consulting

I formed Lighthouse Consulting in 2007 to provide technical property underwriting audit services to the offshore property reinsurance market. Since then Lighthouse's audit services have expanded to include various types of catastrophe audits, operational audits on Florida homeowners companies, and claims audits. More recently Lighthouse has consulted on mergers and acquisitions and property underwriting strategy reviews. My forty two years of technical property underwriting, brokerage, loss control and audit experience (including extensive catastrophe modeling experience) allows me to effectively evaluate the quality of property underwriting in any market segment including HPR, National Accounts, Middle Market, Personal Lines, and Excess and Surplus lines. In 2015 I expanded my services to include expert witness opinions. I bring the same breadth of market experience to this role, and that allows me to understand the underwriting function in any market segment. I can evaluate and opine on the quality of the property underwriting transaction across a wide range of risks.
