Likewise Group was formed in 2018 with the acquisition initially of William Armes followed by Bruce Starke which created Likewise Rugs & Matting. Likewise recognised an opportunity to build a meaningful Flooring Distribution business and take a minimum 10% share of the c.£2 billion UK flooring market. In addition to the Founder Shareholders, the Group raised funds on The International Stock Exchange in January 2019 followed by the acquisition of Heatseam Factory Flooring in Spring 2019. The Group thereafter developed a network of locations around the UK. In the Autumn of 2021 Likewise moved to the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and in January 2022 acquired Valley Wholesale Carpets. Likewise now has twelve locations with comprehensive geographical coverage of the UK and is wholly focused on organic development from these locations. The principal customers of Likewise are Independent Flooring Retailers and Contractors across the UK.
