About Lillooet Area Library Association

The Lillooet Area Library Association provides public library services to residents of the District of Lillooet, Squamish Regional District and the six Northern St’át’imc communities: Sekw’el’was, T’it’q’et, Ts’kw’aylaxw, Xaxli’p, Tsal’alh and Xwisten. We operate three branches and provide outreach to communities without branches. This service extends through a large rugged territory with a population of around 4,250 people. Our Organizations Strategic Priorities include: • Practicing and sharing good governance • Responsive Service • Action on Reconciliation • Providing Community Space We aim to connect community, foster knowledge and understanding, and to share and reconcile stories.
