Lily of the Desert is a family-owned manufacturer of nutritional products and supplements. Founded in 1971, Lily of the Desert has grown to over 275 employees in 3 locations across Texas. The foundation of the company starts with the vertically integrated aloe vera operation and extends to the Nutrition Division which manufactures a variety of nutritional supplements. The focal point and motto of Lily of the Desert is to provide consumers with scientifically validated products which are of the utmost efficacy and provide substantial benefits. Consumers can trust that the content on the package is valid; and that the product does exactly what the claims say it is going to do. This high standard of quality is achieved through unsurpassed research and science in independent clinical studies on ingredients and finished goods, through modern manufacturing capabilities, patented processes, and GMP's. The state-of-the-art aloe vera and large liquid production plant in Mercedes, TX covers a nine acre campus and processes approximately 2.5 million gallons of aloe vera products with the help of 150 employees. This plant produces all Lily of the Desert aloe vera based products including juices and gels, topical/skin care products, and aloe vera powders. The Nutrition Division houses a 100,000 sq ft. plant in Carrollton, TX which features pharmaceutical grade blending, high speed filling and packaging, while housing fully automated manufacturing equipment and a state-of-the-art lab.
