Limarko Group was founded in 1993 as one of the first maritime business companies in Lithuania after gaining independence back in 1990. It consists of Limarko UAB, Limarko Shipping Company AB, Limarko Maritime Agency UAB and Baltkonta UAB. Limarko UAB is the managing company, controlling major stakes in Limarko Group companies. Limarko UAB provides services relating to maritime business. Limarko Shipping Company AB specializes in reefer and container cargo transportation by its own vessels. Presently fleet consists of 6 vessels. Limarko Maritime Agency UAB provides freight forwarding, warehousing, custom broker service, ship and liner agency, container transportation and other logistics services. LimBela logistics represents the interests of Limarko Group in Belarus and CIS countries by providing high quality logistics services. Baltkonta UAB provides container and other cargo transportation, including oversized and heavyweight cargoes as well as door-to-door transportation services. The company is also engaged in organizing multimodal transportation.
