At The Liminal Clinic, we know that real healing happens in the in-between spaces — the liminal places where people navigate identity, trauma, and transformation. “Liminality” means threshold, transition, and change. For us, it represents the courage to step into the unknown and grow into something new. We are a small but growing, intersectional, inclusive, trauma-informed psychology practice grounded in lived experience. We work alongside people with diverse and marginalised identities — including LGBTQIAPSB+ communities (with SB representing Sistergirls and Brotherboys), neurodivergent people, and those with histories of trauma and minority stress. Our approach is neurodivergence-affirming, gender-affirming, and sexuality-affirming. Every client is welcomed as they are, with their identity seen, respected, and celebrated. Our clinicians use a range of evidence-based therapies — including CBT, DBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, and EMDR (including EMDR 2.0) — and adapt them in ways that fit your needs, values, and lived experience. We also offer gender-affirming surgery readiness assessments aligned with WPATH Standards of Care. At The Liminal Clinic, therapy is not just about treating symptoms. It’s about creating a space where healing is possible, where resilience is nurtured, and where you can move toward the life and identity that feel most true to you. This is a space where you don’t have to explain yourself — you get to be yourself.
