About Lincoln Home & Design
Drawing inspiration from more than a decade in Europe and from her current home in Nebraska, Lincoln Home & Design Founder Eva Prettyman creates designs and manages projects as varied as her background. The daughter of a remodeler and master cabinet maker, Eva grew up on job sites assisting her father. Making her way to Milan in her early twenties, she earned a masters in design. Years later, after working abroad in design, entertainment, and real estate, she made the move back to her roots in the Midwest to start Lincoln Home & Design. "I wasn’t sure at first that I would be happy living in Lincoln after living in large cities and exotic countries, but Nebraska is an amazing place to be an entrepreneur. There are so many interesting and talented people doing great things here—I’m proud to be a part of this community." Eva’s specialty is carefully crafted spaces that speak to something deeper than a surface aesthetic. “I love taking the client’s needs and limitations into account and being able to create something wonderful, unexpected, and transformative. Ultimately design is either about solving or preventing problems, and I am driven to do that while still expressing the style that speaks to the client, which could run the gamut from classic traditional, to ultra modern, to boho eclectic or modern farmhouse." As a full-service interior design studio we will not only help you to define and enhance your space, we will elevate your space - to compliment your lifestyle and to visually communicate your unique story.
