About Linda Freedman, PhD, MSW, LCSW

Dr. Freedman is currently doing the research to validate her "better workshops" for sexual harassment prevention in medicine, academia, and the workplace. Her coalition, Relationship-wise, LLC is a group of licensed legal, health, and mental health professionals dedicated to social justice. Our edge is (1) we're really, really experienced. (2) We see a gaping hole in workplace prevention and have set out to fill it. Rather than throw away all that is out there in sexual harassment prevention education and workshops, Dr Freedman has taken the opportunity to study several training initiatives, from the offerings of one of the largest, most highly respected universities in the United States, to large and small corporate training, to the online video training offered to government employees. She is pitching her own, of course, to not only managers and employees, but to the Members of the Board. Meanwhile Dr. Freedman is pushing to validate a more effective, empathy-generating workshop, one that won't take terribly long, but will further the public's understanding of sexual harassment-- as it is understood by social scientists like herself who do nothing but dedicate themselves to the subject.
