About Lindblad Construction
Lindblad Construction has been providing general construction services throughout the Chicagoland area and bordering states for more than 68 years. Lindblad was originally founded as a masonry company over 100 years ago, and has evolved to provide services in concrete construction, renovations, design/build contracting and construction, and supply and construction of pre-engineered metal buildings for both the industrial and commercial markets. The current ownership, which purchased the company in 1989, has been with Lindblad Construction since the late 1970s. Concrete construction has always been a major part of Lindblad’s self-performed work, with numerous projects being completed in the industrial area including power generation and distribution, refinery, chemical, gas transmission, and plant maintenance. As a premiere General Contractor, Lindblad partners with only the most dependable and trusted subcontractors. Subcontracted companies must share our same core values…Safety, Quality, and Reliability. Lindblad performs regular site & quality audits as well as assists in training of subcontractors to ensure that everyone on a Lindblad job-site abide by the same core values. Lindblad has emerged as a key contractor in both the pipeline and utility sectors. Work in the pipeline industry has included liquid & gas pump and compressor stations; liquid & gas terminals; and metering stations. Work in the utility sector has predominantly been associated with electrical substations consisting of both new green field sites to modifications and expansions of existing substation. Management and Ownership at Lindblad has a prominent role in preserving safety on the job site and ensuring that all employees go home safely.
