Hey! I am Gabriela, the founder of Lionheart Wellness. Grounded in a passion for inner peace I have embraced the teachings and importance of mindfulness in my daily routine and the routines of my clients. In the fast-paced corporate world of today, stress and burnout are prevalent. Whilst businesses focus on productivity and competitiveness in a sometimes challenging market, employee well- being can be overlooked. Yet, research indicates that prioritising employee wellness can boost productivity, decrease staff turnover and cultivate a postiive work environment. This is where I come in, bringing sound healing meditation to the workspace. Sound healing, an ancient practice, is gaining scientfic recognition as a promising approach to employee well being. A sound bath is a therapeutic meditative experience whereby you “ bathe” in the sounds and vibrations produced by different instruments, in this case, crystal singing bowl, koshi chimes and tingsha chimes. The sound creates shifts in our brainwaves through entrainment, which is when your brain synchronizes its waves to an external stimuli’s rhythm of frequency. Aligning your brainwaves to a certain frequency can cause a positive physiological and psychological reaction. With a background of over 15 years of recruitment and sale experience, I have witnessed firsthand the toll it can take on employees, recognizing the need for holistic solutions in the workplace. Both meditation and sound healing were an intergral part of helping me cope, not only in the office but in my personal life too. So much that it has led me to where I am today!
