Lior Textile Industries LTD, also known as Lior Protective, is Israel's longest standing designer and manufacturer of protective and tactical gear. The company produce and manufacture a variety of tactical and protective vests, pouches, backpacks and unique tailored solutions for specific mission needs, as well as dry storage solutions. The company was founded in 1976 by Nissim Bookris as a small sewing workshop in Acre, with the idea of supplying the soldiers of the IDF with quality gear so that they may safely perform their duties and better protect themselves and the people of Israel, over the years the workshop grew into a factory and the factory became the company Lior Textile Industries LTD. Today well over 40 years later, the company is still run by the second generation of the Bookris family, and resides in the northern settlement of Shlomi. Lior is to this day one of the main supplier of the IDF and a level A supplier of the Israeli MOD, Lior also supply militaries, law enforcements and private security forces around the globe. Three generations of expertise combined with staff that have served in special units in the IDF enables the company to maintain and develop it's reputation as an industry leading supplier, Lior sees making not only affordable gear, but also top quality gear as a standing stone in it's policy, which the company reinforce with its advanced machinery, quality fabrics, and detailed controlled production processes (ISO 9001:2015).
