About Lisbon Shoemakers

In the late nineteen century our family started a small shoe business. They handmade mostly women shoes in a small local handcraft business, with loyal customers. Known by women as the master shoemakers they had the reputation to design and handcraft unique wedding high heels. The knowledge and the passion for high heels are now reinterpreted by their granddaughter and high heel lover: Carla Vaz de Almeida, the Lisbon Shoemakers talented Shoe Academy designer. It was her choice to the family legacy, stitching tradition with creativity. Come with us, if you are, and only if, you´re a high heel lover!
