About LIT Conversations

LIT Conversations offers middle and high school students the opportunity to start exploring potential professional careers in a meaningful way while they are still in school. Beyond the classroom, students who participate in the program will become part of the LIT Conversations virtual community; a place where students can grow and develop the skills they will need to step into leadership roles now and later. We expose students to professional pathways they may not have thought of, or been exposed to. We introduce students to relatable role models in a wide array of professional pathways. Through focused sessions, we help students make connections between their current educational journeys, and their future careers. We provide students the tools to start planning their academic and professional journeys early on! Our core values are Leadership, Inclusion, and Transformation, and our speaker series is designed to create a space where all students can develop leadership skills, feel included, and begin their transformative journey to realize their full potential. LIT Conversations strongly believes that career preparedness should start early! We are looking forward to partnering with you, and supporting your students to have a strong start on their path to a successful career! LIT Conversations partners with schools, school networks, or other youth serving organizations, and works closely with school administrators, educators, and service providers to design tailored packages based on the students’ needs and interests. LIT Conversations is able to tailor the length of the series as well as the professions represented by our speakers. The LIT Conversations team vets and trains all speakers. Our virtual learning environment means we’re able to connect with you no matter where you are.
