Let's face it, Birthdays and Drinks were practically made for each other. Our Lids fit almost any beverage container, from your witty boyfriends IPA pint to your wife's glass of Rose to your uncles diet soda can. Whether you’re chugging cheap beer, sipping soda, or pretending your sparkling water is the latest gin trend, Lit Lids makes every drink a celebration. Perfect for party favors, gag gifts, or that friend who has everything but a sense of humor. Have you ever forgot a present for someones birthday but decided a bottle of wine, beer or pint will suffice? Me too! Lots of times! That's why I created Lit Lids. I'm practical yet want to feel fancy. Ya know? Hi, I'm Jason, founder and chief celebration officer. The idea was sparked in my early twenties when I moved to a small ski town in Colorado and started working at a craft brewery. At this brewery, when it was someones birthday, we'd buy them a beer. Once I saw one of the bartenders light a candle, melt the wax onto the center of a coaster and stick the lit candle in the wax. I secretly in the far depths of my mind, knew I had to create something fun around the concept. I mentioned the idea to my good friend Winslow and he started taking a crack at the design. We prototyped and tweaked the design for many years..since 2016 actually...grew our families by 4 kids, survived a pandemic, I ran another successful business and now, finally, it's time to launch this passion project and bring this product to life.
