About Little Big Events
Little Big Events have been at the forefront of community centric activations and place making in Tauranga since 2009. A strong ethos in contributing to the social fabric of communities has provided the stimulus to initiate such events as The Little Big Markets in Mount Maunganui and Papamoa, Dinner in the Domain, Tauranga’s Christmas in the Park, On The Lawn, Vegan Vibes, Beast of a Feast, Street Food Union, Vegan Vibes and Night Owl Cinema. We’ve carefully managed our brand identity and story whilst developing comprehensive operational systems, which has ensured a high standard of events across all facets. This process in turn has enabled us to engage in place making projects outside of our local area including the re-activation of the once vibrant Victoria Park Markets in Auckland. From the onset our objectives have been to: • Create events that help communities tell better stories about themselves. • Offer a platform for small scale businesses, artists, musicians and food vendors to flourish and provide a means of growing their brand awareness and customer base. • Add diversity and vibrancy to communities • Uphold sustainable and environmentally responsible business and event management practises. • Bring communities together. • Support and ‘give back’ to local charities through providing a platform for fundraising initiatives and public donations.
