About Little Paws
Little Paws is a non profit organisation which has started ten months ago by 3 youngsters of Visakhapatnam with a motive of serve pets for a healthy living in our social world. The idea started small, serving 3 pets which penetrated into the hearts of numerous pet lovers and was eventually encouraged to a level that Little Paws is currently operating with 30 active volunteers and serving an average of 70 pets. We have about 200 attendees in physical meets and more than 5500 followers on the virtual platform. We have established ourselves and have guidance of veterinarians and certified dog trainers. Understanding the effectiveness of virtual medium we choose social networking sites as a primary platform to reach the right crowd. Little Paws has conducted 14 successful meetups spreading awareness on pet socialising, training, grooming, taming and healthy habits enhancing the bonding between pets and humans. Our various meets were encouraged by pet related firms like Drools, Royal Canin and Pedigree. Due to great increase in urbanisation pet freedom has been confined to 4 walls. We encourage physical exercise for every pet and teach them how to give the right workout for pets living in apartments. Here, we are making every individual understand the importance of the awareness being provided. When it comes to owning pets, a full acquaintance to their pet, its breed and every information concerned is extremely important. This is where we help people in receiving it. Some aspects of information can be gained by reading or watching where our virtual team helps to connect with you with help of social network, blogs, videos, breed wise information etc. In this, the query of the owner is addressed to him as well as the public, as some aspects of information is difficult to understand by just reading about it, the owners are provided with physical explanation of the query, thus fulfilling the purpose of our meetups.
