About Little Tree Counselling

Founded with a purpose. Little Tree Counselling was created by Ash Wood to bring together passionate, knowledgeable and real professionals and experiences to support and build capacity for parents navigating more challenging parenting journeys. In particular Little Tree was was founded to address the gaps Ash saw not only as a therapist, but also experienced as a parent of a child with neurodiversity. Ash found a disconnect between individualistic services offered to children and the experiences of the parents and the whole family around this child. Little Tree understands that parents are often a child's first therapists, biggest advocates and the experts on their own child and wants to support their wellbeing so they can continue to be their child's champions. Ash is particularly passionate about supporting children and families navigating the challenging process of getting the right support for a child with additional needs, and keeping families safe and connected with each other while on this often difficult and isolating journey.
